The Public Service Commission (PSC) has released the seat allotment, schedule and exam conduct guidelines for the 45th BCS preliminary exam. This information was informed in a notification of PSC on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the notification, it will be held simultaneously in Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal,
Sylhet, Rangpur and Mymensingh divisions on Friday, May 19. This exam of 200 marks will be held from 10 am to 12 noon. Candidates have to take seat between 8:30 am to 9:25 am.
Instructions to Candidates:
Question papers will be given to the candidates at 10 am. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination center after The distribution of question papers. No one can leave the center until the examination is over.
Bringing books, all types of watches, mobile phones, calculators, all types of electronic devices,
jewelry and bags to the examination center is prohibited. At the gate of the examination hall,
candidates have to enter the examination hall through the presence of the Executive Magistrate
Police and the search of prohibited items including mobile phones, watches, and electronic devices with
the help of metal detectors. The Preliminary exam will have MCQ questions of 200 marks. 1 mark for each
correct answer and zero decimal 50 marks will be deducted from the total marks obtained for each wrong answer.
According to PSC data, 3 lakh 46 thousand candidates have applied for the 45th BCS. A total of 2,309 cadres will be recruited through the 45th BCS. 1 thousand 22 people will be taken in non-cadre.
Out of 2 thousand 309 cadres in the 45th BCS, the largest number of recruitments will be in medical.
A total of 539 assistants and dental surgeons will be recruited. 437 people will get the maximum appointment in The education cadre after treatment. After that, 80 people will be appointed in police, 54 in customs and 274 in administration.
